Dr. Whelan is a medical doctor and is residency-trained in Emergency Medicine. He is extensively experienced as an Emergency Medicine Physician and has worked for nearly a decade in hospitals ranging from large Level 1 Trauma centers to small critical access hospitals. He has also spent time in hospital administration as a Medical Director and Chief of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Whelan also has experience working as an Inpatient Hospitalist as well as a dedicated one-on-one concierge medicine doctor for his community. He is currently training as a Fellow of Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine through the A4M Advanced Fellowship Program.

Lab testing is needed to be able to develop your unique treatment plan. Once you have signed the consent forms, Dr. Whelan will place orders for you to have blood tests done at your convenience.
Dr. Whelan will review your intake forms and questionnaires, medical history, lab test results, and your goals for treatment prior to your initial consultation.
At your initial consultation, Dr. Whelan will review all of the information you have provided, and your lab test results, and perform any additional evaluation needed. Based on your goals and specific biology, he will create an individualized treatment plan for you.
